William Silas Land Sr. passed away on June 28, 2021, at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana.
He was born to Daniel and Dorothy Land on August 24, 1948.
William was married to Mary Ann Hill in April, 1970. Six children are survived by William. Tina Braman (Randy), Tammy Macri (Frank), Michelle Pessmeg (Brad), Bill Land Jr. (Michelle), Daniel, and Angala Lynch (Jeff). He has 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
William was 1 of 9 children: Mary Smith of Florida, Violet Dorothy Love of Tennessee, James Land of French Lick, Indiana, Philip Land of Knox Indiana, Lonnie Land of Alabama and Connie Tharp of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons: Ricky and Christopher; his brother Stephen Land; sister Charmaine Glover and a granddaughter Madison Lynch.
A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
