Shirley Snedden

January 9, 1932 - July 17, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Snedden. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Maureen) and Kevin (Cheri) Snedden; her grandchildren, Amber (Snedden) Balcerak, Erik Snedden, Jenna (Snedden) Weir, Brad Snedden, Brian Snedden, and Chelsea Snedden; and her sister, Donna Clusserath. Her great-grandsons, Jack and Vincent, were a source of great joy in her life.

Shirley was fortunate to receive dedicated support from her caregivers, Diane Partain and Annie Estrada. Professionally, she committed over 50 years of service to the Hammond Oral Surgery Center and Northwest Oral Surgeons. Beyond her career, Shirley was a devoted friend who enjoyed participating in Bunco for over five decades with a cherished circle of companions. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. In accordance with her final wishes, no services will be held.

Shirley will be sorely missed. She was simply the best. She remembered stories about my wild days and some of the great times in Munster that put a smile on everyone’s face. The purest definition of “last of the Mohicans” however, she’s quite lucky to have such a big beautiful family to celebrate her memory. Shirley never judged me and always welcomed me with a smile and wide open arms. i’ll never forget this. We send all of our love and prayers at this difficult time.
