Roy W. Flagg

August 6, 1938 - January 17, 2021

Roy Flagg passed peacefully on January 17th, 2021, at the age of 82 at his home in Lake Village, surrounded by his family.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Judy. Loving Father of Brenda (Bill) Brengman, Daisy (Dan) Cicero, Jeff (Kathleen) Flagg, and Debbie Stowell. Proud Grandfather of Tara (Glen), Alexis, and Halle. Further survived by brothers Marvin (Sarah) Flagg, Gene (Gloria) Flagg, and sister Carol (Benny) Daun, numerous nieces and nephews and a dear friend and companion, Cheri Dillon.

Roy was a U.S. Navy veteran and enjoyed the many countries he was able to travel to. He played the guitar and enjoyed bluegrass jams with many friends. He was also an avid fisherman. Roy had a love for life and his family and friends were the absolute most important part of it.

A memorial gathering will be planned for Roy in the summer of 2021 to celebrate his love for life.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Roy. Please know I am keeping all of you in my prayers & I have ask for prayers for all the family at the churches that I attend through the week. We love you all. I am deeply saddened for the Flaggs and Ciceros. He is a wonderful man and we are very proud of who his is. We will miss him dearly and know he is sitting next to the father in heaven.??

My prayers, love and condolences to all of Roy's family & many friends. He is a cousin of mine and his smile was wonderful. He had many stories and made me laugh each time I seen him. It's time for you to rest now and make heaven laugh. God Bless you all???

My heart goes out to all of Roy's family. At some point, I will tip a bottle of Jameson in Roy's memory. I think that he would appreciate it.

Roy will be deeply missed. My brother Bill and him was very great friends. Prayers for the family.
