Robert J. Pelleteri, III, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 9, 2024, in Michigan City, Indiana. He was born August 26, 1970, in Fort Lauderdale, FL to Jill (Smith) Pelleteri, and lived in Toledo, OH.
Rob graduated from Davis College in 1993 with a degree in Business Management and worked in retail management for many years. In 2006, he started his career as a railroad conductor with Norfolk Southern Railroad where he worked until his passing.
He was a devoted and loving father who enjoyed spending time with his kids, who were the most important part of his life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the outdoors and talked of wanting to become a forest ranger when he was younger. He was also an amazing friend who would do anything he could to help family, friends or co-workers. He had a kind heart with a tough exterior.
Rob is survived by his mother; daughter, Adriann Jayne; son, Nicholas James; stepsister Kristi (Brian) Soller and best friend, Josh (Melissa) Shuster. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, E. Jane Smith and grandfather, Vernon Smith.
Rob will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.
