Paul Charles Gee, 47, of Demotte Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by love on March 13, 2025. Paul was born in Hammond, Indiana to Timothy and Sandra Gee on Sept 9, 1977. He attended Griffith High school, Class of 1995. He went to Hammond Tech during High School for auto body work, which was his favorite. He also attended Atterbury Job Corp just outside of Indianapolis to get his GED and dabbled in the Welding program.
Paul enjoyed being a baseball player during his childhood years playing for the Angels in 1986 and loved his brief involvement in karate classes which fueled his love for martial arts and wrestling throughout his life. Paul welcomed his first daughter Madeline Gee September 28th 1995, with Melinda Gee, bringing joy and purpose to his life. Paul’s career spanned from Dyer Auto Auction, Kahler Middle School and Munster High School to Impact group homes. His fun-loving nature blended with his electrical / plumbing / handyman skills served him well in the world of long-term care for over 10 years where he was promoted to Maintenance Director. His efficient manner allowed him to get the work done and leave plenty of time for shenanigans along the way. This is where he met his wife, Kimberly Urban and married on July 8, 2017. This union completed his family, bringing daughter Meghan Urban and Madeline Gee together as the sisters they were always meant to be. Paul cherished his girls and took pride in being their father. Never too busy for a school project, an extra run for more Elmers glue to make endless gallons of slime, recreating bedrooms according to our latest ideas, or the quiet unspoken love of filling up the gas tank in the middle of the night so Meg never had to worry. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gaming, tinkering in the garage and working on the cars, trucks and bikes over the years. Paul was also a very proud fun-loving uncle. His nieces and nephews were always on the list when we wanted to take on an adventure! His love for animals also had no limit, finding comfort with his many pets over the years. He never left a friend in need, always there for you no matter what. His personality was filled with endless fun natured antics, creative inventions and crafts, romantic and soft-hearted generosity, and a splash of speed racing to balance it all out!
