Ms. Myra Louise Cook, 81, of LaPorte died Friday, October 29, 2021, 5:42a.m. at her home in LaPorte. She was born June 3, 1940 in Norwood Ga. To Lonnie and Bessie Smith.
On August 8, 1959, in Columbus, Ga., she married Wayne Leroy Cook who died December 18, 1995.
Ms. Cook worked at Harper Collins for many years.
Surviving are daughter, Connie Jongkind of Michigan City, four sons, Randy of Dallas and Lonnie, Gary, and Clayton, all of LaPorte and 9 Grandchildren. She was Preceded in death by her Husband Wayne Cook.
She was a loving wife and Mother and a great friend who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Private family services were held.
