June Zyla, age 95 of Valparaiso, Indiana (formerly of Hammond, Indiana), passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her sons: Ted (Betty) Zyla, Christopher (Linda) Zyla and daughter: Gail Zyla (Jerry Gulla); grandchildren: David (Stefani) Zyla, Danny, Sarah (Kevin) Spoolstra, Jeff (Shari) Sims, Jackson (Gianna) Zyla and Nicholas Gulla.
June is preceded in death by her husband: Edward F. Zyla; parents: Pearl and Bill Rosenwinkel; brother Charles Rosenwinkel, sisters Margaret Mayer and Dorothy Rosenwinkel.
June had a deep commitment to her faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. She was generous of time and spirit and loved traveling. She served as PTA President at Jefferson Elementary School and Cub Scout Den Mother amongst many other things.
Known for her keen skills, June was a bookkeeper for Woodmar Travel Agency. She was one of a kind and will truly be missed.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
