Leah Rae Kessinger (nee: Franklin), age 79, of Crown Point, IN and formerly of DeMotte, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Leah was born in Sullivan, IN on September 18, 1942 to James and Virginia (nee: Moss) Franklin who both preceded her in death.
Leah is survived by daughters: Jennifer (Larry) Roach and Kristina (Tom) Tognarell; grandchildren: Allison (Gerald Cunningham) Roach, Rachael (Justin) Wythe, Ashlyn (Tyler Ciszar) Carlson-Burke, and Connor (Emily Spurling) Carlson-Burke. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Franklin.
Leah was a Registered Nurse and delivered many babies and helped so many people over the years. She loved music and singing. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
