Lawrence M. Witzke was born February 15th, 1998, in Amsterdam, New York. He lived for many years in Fulton County, New York before venturing to Zephyrhills, Fl where he attended and graduated Tenoroc High School. In 2021, he moved to South Bend, Indiana where he lived with his partner Donte Rosetto for over a year before his life was taken from his family too soon at the age of 24 on November 11th, 2022.
Lawrence was predeceased by his loving grandmother Vicki Lynn Witzke in 2009. Lawrence was the first-born grandson to John (Deb) Witzke Sr and Vicki Witzke. His father Dennis (Virginia) Witzke Sr., mother April (Kevin) Rienhardt, and mother Rebecca (Ben) Schmidt will forever miss their loving, funny, and outgoing son, whom they are very proud to have known and loved.
Lawrence was a great big brother to his sisters Edna and Elvira Witzke, Alexis Robinson, Briana (Alex) Schmidt, and his brothers Lane Robinson Jr, Matthew Schmidt, Dennis Jr., and Carl Witzke. Lawrence was an uncle to Scott, Zachariah, and Ezekiel and although he was not able to spend much time with them, he was so in love with his little three minions.
Lawrence was loved by many, including several uncles, aunts, cousins, many friends, and extended family. Lawrence was a light to many, had a love for all, and he was goofy, fun, and even crazy at times. He loved NJROTC, Color Guard, singing, hanging out with friends, and just living life to the fullest. Though Lawrence was taken from us all, he will be forever loved and missed by his friends and family. We love you to the moon and back our Sweet Angel.
The family has planned a celebration of life to be held at the Gloversville Moose Lodge located at 140 E State St, Gloversville, NY 12078 on November 19, 2022 at 5 pm.
