Joseph James Terrell

Joseph James Terrell passed away on Tuesday, June 30th at his residence in Merrillville, Indiana at the age of 50. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Gale R Ford, biological mother, Annette Straub, adopted father, Mark Terrell, and adopted brother, Stephen Terrell. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Moor; mother, Dorothy Terrell; sisters Elizabeth (Robert) Schmitt, Elizabeth ( David ) Parramore, Doris (Roger ) Atkinson, Amanda (Eric deceased) Davis; brother, Mark ( Beth ) Terrell Jr.; nephews, Jacob Schmitt and Duncan Terrell; niece, Emily Schmitt; many other siblings, nieces and nephews. Joseph James Terrell was born 06/19/1976, as Manasseh Joseph Benjamin Ford. He was adopted at the age of 11 by Mark and Dorothy Terrell into a family with two sisters and two brothers. Joe remained in touch with his sister Elizabeth Schmitt and in his adult years was able to discover and unite with some of his other biological family including their oldest sister Elizabeth Paramore and other siblings. Throughout Joe’s life his family and friends were very important to him and he will be loved and missed by many!
