Jason Michael Fremouw

May 11, 1972 - January 27, 2022
 Jason Michael Fremouw of Crown Point, IN passed away on January 27th, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born on May 11th,1972, the beloved son of Wally Fremouw and the late Cathy Doyle, and treasured stepson of Marj Fremouw.
Kind and generous, caring and hardworking, Jason will be remembered for his sense of humor and devotion to his family.  He loved to cook and to teach his girls how to enjoy the better things in life, as well as the practical things like changing oil on a car. NASCAR with his Dad and brothers and camping with the whole family were favorite pastimes, as were fireworks on the 4th of July and bonfires in the back yard. It wasn’t summer until Jason got the pool ready. He enjoyed working on and cruising in his cars and riding his motorcycle, usually while blasting AC/DC. He was a skilled tool and die maker for over 20 years, gaining many great friends along the way. His coworkers will also remember him for always being up to some sort of shenanigans, keeping everyone laughing. Jason also fought many health battles in his life but somehow he was always able to keep a smile or place one on his friends and families faces. He handled all of his battles with amazing strength and dignity.
Jason is survived by Heidi Fremouw, his best friend and soulmate and wife of almost 20 years, with whom he built a beautiful life. They loved each other beyond words. It is a love that will transcend time. He was a loving and dedicated father to his three daughters Jesse, Chloe and Taryn Fremouw. There is nothing that he wouldn’t do for his girls. He loved being a brother to Jeff (Julie), Adam (Carole), Jacob and Clark Fremouw and was an adored uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a beloved grandson to Eunice Krueger and nephew to Marcia Krueger. Jason will be missed by his many extended family members and friends.
