Jim loved telling stories of his childhood, his love of cars and the Lord. He played the guitar, banjo and harmonica. He loved to sing and had the best laugh. Jim met Jeannie on a blind date and 3 months later they married on June 30, 1956. They lived in Hammond, IN for a few years, then Dyer, IN for 30. They moved to West Lebanon, IN in 1995. They loved their life down there, they had some land and some wonderful friends and church family. Jim was a sidekick to the Sheriff of Warren County for a time and was deputized and had quite a few stories to share about that time. He had a great laugh and his faith never wavered. Jim and Jeannie moved back to the region in 2017 and spent time with the family. He loved his family so very much. Jim is in Heaven now, drinking sweet tea on the porch with Jeannie and Jimmy. He will be missed and was loved very much. Thank you to Ascera Care Hospice for caring for him these last 6 weeks.
