Dean Moore Cox, 75, of Gary, IN passed away on February 21, 2021. He was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, on August 3, 1945.

In 1982, Mr. Cox married Carol T. in Merrillville, IN.

He worked at The Elgin, Joliet, & Eastern railroad for 35 years.

Dean enjoyed listening to classical organ music, reading the Bible, woodworking and carpentry, science and technology, detailing automobiles, philosophy, graphology, and of course, his love for puppies. He was loved and respected by his co-workers upon his retirement.

He is survived by his son, Michael, 33. I will miss you, Poppa Puppy!
