David Lee Laughlin Sr.

David Lee Laughlin Sr.,84 of Michigan City passed away on March 14th at his home peacefully. He was born July 23rd, 1938 in Michigan City, IN to David and Margaret (Brast) Laughlin. He was married in 1959 to Anna Jordan Laughlin who survives.

Also surviving is his son Jerry Laughlin, his grandchildren, Crystal Gumns, Tiffany (Brad) Wisenbaugh, Jonathan Laughlin, Adam Laughlin and Trent Laughlin. His daughter in laws Deanna Laughlin and Bobbi Laughlin. As well as his seven great grandchildren and his dog Ellie. He also has many surviving nieces, nephews and friends.

He was known and loved by many.

David was a Journeyman Plasterer, unwillingly retired after 50+ years. He liked Nascar, muscle cars and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister, two brothers and his sons David and Tom Laughlin.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of David’s life held at Portofinos Grill in Laporte on March 19th from 2-4 pm.
