Blessings to all of David's family during this hard time. I met David 34 years ago playing music and he played drums in the first band I ever fronted. I have been blessed to have known him as a good friend for all these years. I love you, Brohole!

My sympathy goes to Dave’s family. I didn’t know him extremely well. We met way back in 1993 or 1994 and we only played one gig together but he remembered everything. Many years later, I retired from the Navy and moved back to Tulsa. I saw him at an open jam and barely recognized him but he remembered me and could recount the gig we played together in vivid detail, including what we did before and after. This impressed me about Dave! He was skilled at dealing/working with people; I think he loved what he did as a musician too. He was a skilled musician and helped a lot of other musicians in the music community here in Tulsa. I enjoyed his company very much; rest in peace my fellow Tulsa musician. Now your influence on others and your music is not bound by the physical world.
