Cheryl Pond, 66, of LaPorte, Indiana passed away peacefully in her home on October 19, 2021 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Cheryl enjoyed watching her soap operas and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her sister in Kentucky. Cheryl was known to many as “Granny”. She was retired as a food service worker from LaPorte Hospital.
Cheryl was born on November 2, 1954 in Petaluma, California. Cheryl is survived by her son, Russell H. Pray of LaPorte, Indiana; daughter in law, Tamara (Tami) Pray; son, Jedidiah Dean of Michigan City, Indiana; 2 grandchildren, Russell H. Pray Jr. and Joseph R. Pray; sister, Kimberly Dennis; brother, Randy; and several others she claimed as her own children and grandchildren.
