Chuck was a devoted husband and father. He cared for his grandchildren and would do anything for anybody. He was a long-time employee of Dawn Food Products. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Justine Upchurch, his parents, Fred and Laverne Upchurch, Fred Upchurch (brother), David Upchurch (brother), and Ellen Manning (sister).
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Upchurch, as well as his children, Caressa (Upchurch) Alanis, Sophia Upchurch, and Joseph Charles Upchurch. All residing in Merrillville, Indiana – his grandchildren, Jaleeya Reyes, Xavier Alanis, Jessenia Alanis, and Naomi Alanis.
Survived by Carol Boldi (sister), Brian Upchurch (brother), Jerri Finnearty (sister), Gary Upchurch (brother), and several nieces and nephews.
Chuck loved making things for anybody, We will miss him dearly.
A memorial will be posted by the family at a later date.
