Bret Bailey

October 25, 1962 - October 3, 2023

Bret Bailey, 60, of Michigan City IN passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Michigan City to Donald “Red” & Helen (Dierdorf) Bailey.

Bret was preceded in death by his father and brothers Arthur LeRoy, Jesse, and Erick Bailey. Surviving are his mother and three siblings: Millicent (Robert) Bearickx, Michigan City, Michael (Janet) Bailey, New Carlisle, and Max (Roberta) Bailey, Bartlesville, OK. He was a favorite uncle to 15 nieces & nephews.

After graduating from Rogers High School, Bret joined the US Navy. He then earned an associate degree in Automotive Technology from Wyoming Tech, Landers WY. Bret’s true passion was his love of cars and trucks — working on them, admiring them, and driving them.
