Michael Lee Janowski Sr., age 64, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born in Michigan City to Shirley Montgomery and Clement S. Janowski.
Mike is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Penny (Boothe); children, Michael (Sandra) and Eric; his grandchildren, Miles, Leo, Lexy, Jaxon, Adeline, Jamie; great grandchild, Jaxson; his loving and kind mother, Shirley; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends; and siblings, Greg, Jeanine, Debra.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Clement; and his brother, Danny.
Mike was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He loved family vacations to Orlando and going to Colts football games. He loved his wife unconditionally and with 100% of his heart. He was our “travel agent” for vacations, our handyman and our mechanic. We are so happy that he was able to visit Disney World in November. It was his happy place.
A private celebration of Mike’s life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Mike’s name to the Michigan City Humane Society.
