Michael Ray Johnson, age 62, of Hobart, Indiana passed away peacefully after a brief illness on July 21st, 2025.
He leaves behind his son Peyton & Daughter Gracelyn. His siblings Cyndi (Scotty) Stewart, Sean Johnson, Chrissy (Jimmy) Webb, Charesa (Johnny) Stewart, Clint Johnson, Jason Johnson, Nicole (Craig) Merrill, Ray Haynes & David Johnson. Numerous nephew’s, nieces, & friends. Including Special friends Brad Stoll, Brian Klut, Joe Nelson & Gary Philpot.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bruce Johnson & Vera Haynes, bonus mom Lula Johnson, niece Natasha Johnson & brother Jeff Johnson as well as his grandparents.
Mike was a diehard Indianapolis Colts & Chicago Blackhawks fan. Three of his most infamous sayings were 1) Why couldn’t I be born rich instead of so darn good looking! 2) Stick a fork in me I’m done. And lastly 3) Take care of you for me.
He will sorely missed by all who loved him and stood beside him despite his faults.
With his death he has been acquitted of his past sins (Romans 6:23) And look forward to the beautiful hope of a resurrection (John 5:28,29 & Acts 24:15)
