February 18, 1943 - March 15, 2026

Linda Lee Mills (nee Brown), age 83 of Crown Point, IN, passed away peacefully on
Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Linda is survived by her children, Marcy Mills of Dallas, TX, Brian (Sandy) Mills of
Valparaiso, IN, Darren Mills of Phoenix, AZ and Margo (Dale) Potter of Chicago, IL, her
grandchildren, Nathan (Jessica) Davis, Matteson, Lucas Mills, Jacob (Lizzy), Sara and
Grace Mills, Jessica, Hannah and Allan Potter; brother, Kenneth (Jan) Brown; and niece
Shelly (Scott) Shahbaz.
Linda was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Mills; granddaughter, Samantha Potter;
and her parents Herbert and Nadine Brown.
Linda was a graduate of Crown Point High School class of 1961 where she was a
Cadette. She lived in Dallas, TX and Naples, FL before moving back to Crown Point in
the late 90’s to be closer to her grandchildren. She was known at her senior living
facility as Linda with purple hair, as she loved putting streaks of her favorite color in her
hair. She enjoyed watching Westerns and listening to Freddy Mercury and Billy Idol.
Her favorite movie was Bohemian Rhapsody.
