Kevin Casper, 51, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025. Born on February 28, 1974, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Kevin brought warmth and positivity to all who knew him throughout his life.
For over 25 years, Kevin dedicated himself as a parts specialist at Community Honda in Orland Park. His commitment and reliability made him a valued member of the team and a familiar face to many in the community. His work ethic was matched only by his generous spirit—Kevin was known for his open-door policy and unwavering support for friends and loved ones.
Kevin had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in nature’s simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of Chicago sports teams and cherished time spent fishing and golfing. One of his favorite traditions was attending the Indy 500 with lifelong friends, an event he looked forward to each year with great enthusiasm.
Above all else, Kevin was a peaceful and caring soul whose presence brought comfort to those around him. His kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife Theresa; Father and Mother Charles Edward and Leslie Ann; his son Jeremy; stepson Zach; stepdaughters Amber, Morgan, and Emily. Kevin was preceded in death by his brother Christopher.
A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers we request that donations be made to Habitat for Humanity in his name.
May Kevin’s memory bring peace and comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

I was very sorry to hear of Kevin's death. I will always remember him as a sweet and lovable little kid. He and his brother spent many weekends visiting his Uncle and myself. We would spend half day at Lake Michigan and half day at Lincoln Park Zoo. He was always a treat. He was so friendly that we had to keep a close eye on him or else he would be off making friends with every stranger who passed by. It's nice to read that he continued to have this spirit. My condolences to his family.
