Kathleen S Hepburn

Kathleen S Hepburn, age 68 of Schererville, Indiana, passed away on June 22, 2026. Born on October 13, 1957, she was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and sister. Kathy was preceded in death by her Husband, Glen Hepburn, Mother, Delores (nee Hillmam) Pocock. Father Walter Pocock, Brothers Daniel Pocock, and James Pocock.

She is survived by her Daughter’s Jennifer (Paul) Mitchell, and Emily Hepburn. Two sisters Jackie (John) Grutzies, Ellie and Diane Alexander, Four grandchildren Allison Konicek, Elizabeth, Jacquelyn, Paul Mitchell, Mother In Law Loretta Bales, Brother In law James (Paige) Bales, Sister In Law Kim (Fior) Santaniello, many nieces and nephews, as well as a small circle of dear friends and extended family members.

Kathy dedicated her life to the people she loved most. As a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, she found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She was the heart of her home, creating a place filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. Whether preparing family meals, offering words of encouragement, or simply being there when she was needed most, she gave of herself selflessly every day.

Those who knew Kathy will remember her kind heart, gentle spirit, unwavering strength, and the quiet ways she showed her love. She never sought recognition, believing that caring for those she loved was life’s greatest purpose. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the traditions she created, and the countless memories shared around her family table.

SERVICES AND CELEBRATIONS

Friends and family are invited to gather for a Celebration of life that will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the American Legion Post 485, 7485 Burr St, Schererville, IN 46375. Loved ones can gather to share memories and honor Kathy’s life.
