Joanne was a beautiful woman. She was kind hearted and will always be loved and remembered.
She is up in heaven with her husband, Richard D. Thompson. She is survived by her children, Debra A. Shackleton, James D. Thompson, and her youngest son who was her caregiver at home Willian J. Thompson; her grandchildren, Melinda Ackley, Heidi, Holly, and Hanna Shackleton, her great grandchildren, Andrew Dattolico and April Murray.
She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Remembering my Godmother, in Heaven on her birthday. Joanne was such a kind & wonderful person. I think of Joanne everyday. Also her birthday, is the day before mine. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with Joanne at the Video Biz, in Portage, IN. In the mid 1980's. Prayers.
