Georgia A. Sharpe

September 24, 1949 - July 11, 2025

Georgia Ann Sharpe (Adams) passed away on July 11, 2025. She is survived by her Beloved husband Richard S. Sharpe; Loving Mother, Margaret M. Adams; children, Lori A Martens (David), Bryan Sharpe (Adrienne), Julie Kaster (Jeff); proud Nana to: Andrew, Caitlyn, Aishlin, Jenna, Jessie; siblings; Claudia Carlson (Paul), Terry Adams (Susan), Thomas Adams (Cynthia); as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Reunited in death with her Beloved Father, George R. Adams, and in-laws, Ralph and Mary Jean Sharpe.
Georgia was passionate about cooking for her family, loved her flower garden, crocheting blankets for all the new babies and creating art/craft projects to entertain the “kiddos”. When there was a party, you could always count on Georgia to be the first on the dance floor.
Georgia’s life on this earth was filled with love and compassion for all she met. She loved talking about her grandchildren. Georgia made it a point to always help the underdog and saw the good in everyone. She leaves behind a space in our hearts that can never be filled.
Georgia’s generous spirit and love are a testament to the beautiful life she lived and tried to share with others. As Georgia would say to everyone: “I love you to the moon and back always”.
The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to all who have contacted the family and especially the first responders who helped us during this difficult time.
May she rest in peace.

Georgia and I worked together for many years. She was always pleasant and knew how to lift your spirits. I will always remember her as a :party girl: and full of fun. My condolences to Rick and her family.

My most sincere condolences to your entire family... I grew up with Georgia, down in south shore subdivision. We had a great childhood... Most of it spent down at the lake. What fun we had. In later life we worked together at the Cedar Lake Bank and knew everyone who came in. We formed a bunco club that lasted for years. (Did more talking than playing bunco.) I will miss you dear friend, until we meet again... I'm praying for your family and may you rest in peace... Love you...Jude
