Amy Sue Crane

Born in Hartford, Kentucky, and a longtime resident of Northwest Indiana, Amy Sue Crane passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 71 years old.

Amy was the beloved wife of Terry Crane, and a devoted mother to Patreace Smith, Misty Gorby, Shaon Henson, and David Dillman Jr. She was also a proud sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose love and laughter will live on through generations.

Sue was full of spunk and had a sharp, unforgettable sense of humor. Her quick wit and joyful spirit brought light to every room she entered. She had a gift for making others smile and a heart that welcomed everyone.

Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience. Queen Bee will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and fondly remembered for the warmth, strength, and humor she shared so freely.
